Mandy + Dalton
These two “island kids” threw one heck of a party at Saltwater Farm, proving that the venue can indeed handle 300+ guests on a beautiful July day!
Sweetest Moment: Mandy is a special education teacher and she invited one of her students to be her flower girl. The flower girl walked down the aisle with Dalton’s sister and cousin, and she had the biggest smile on her face. She was so proud!
Best Decor Item: A homemade photo booth. Dalton’s mom painstakingly made a giant backdrop out of individually tied strips of fabric. It turned out beautifully and was complemented by several pieces of vintage furniture and fun props.
Take Note For Your Wedding: Even a celebration with 300 people can feel intimate with these planning tips: Make sure there are enough activities for everyone to be involved in, and space out the schedule so that you have time to mingle with as many guests as possible. Mandy and Dalton also did a great job with their layout, having tables both inside and outside but opening up the double doors and large garage door to give the reception a smooth indoor/outdoor flow.
